I've gotta tell ya. Costco Kirkland brand 100% Arabica coffee in the 2.5 lb. bag is as good a tasting coffee as I've found. I'm with Robbie. Use the filter basket with your own coffee...Way cheaper than the K-cups.

Dunkin’ Donuts coffee - not popular with you guys, but it’s what I like and keep boxes of k cups.

Hadn't when I was there but I understand standards have been lowered and they are letting in serious, if less socially adept, students, a shortsighted approach since those types won't be so good at schmoozing support out of the legislature.

I would second Brad's recommendation of Community Coffee, maybe there coffee with chicory. My daily coffee is Folger's Gourmet Dark Roast or Folger's Silk Dark Roast. I read recently dark roast has less caffeine than lighter roast.

We've had a Keurig for a while...

I use reusable filters (bought them on Amazon, made by Keurig) and grind my own beans as needed.

The finer the grind...the blacker the coffee.

Heat is adjustable on the Keurig we have, I actually have it set at the 2nd hottest temperature.

...makes great tea, BTW.

I thank all of you for your suggestions.

From here and these elsewhere:
Barista Prima House Blend.
Green Mountain Kenya AA
Diedrich French Roast Blend
Eight 'o' Clock Dark Italian Roast
Peet's Major Dickasons Blend
Caribou Mahogany
Community Dark Roast

Now off the the many day trials. This may take a while... Bux

Be sure to report back. I'm interested even though I very rarely drink coffee, or any caffeine, these days.

No wonder you can't feel your feet.

I've never had coffee from a Kurig, but the wife has one at work and she likes the Dunkin stuff too. Not sure if it makes the tar Ed is looking for.

No, it doesn't. They have a dark roast, but I'm sure that's still not what he's looking for.
