I had a CT scan today and they told me to drink plenty of liquids to rid my system of the contrast dye they shot into me. Liking to do as the docs tell me, I started drinking lemonade when I got home. On the second glass, I added a jigger of Tanqueray...that picks the lemonade up nicely.

Squire, I like the way you think and cope with the medics...never give them the satisfaction that they've thought of anything... that you hadn't thought of days earlier. Defy the odds, ignore the professional nerds, be a self-survivor just like your daddy and grand-daddy...preserve tradition....it is our calling.
Where is the smiley for "up-yours." ??? Bux

The way the docs explain the aortic aneurysm I have operating on it would be highly dangerous with a 25% chance of ruining my kidneys. I have told them "thanks but no thanks." I'm letting them check the aneurym's size mainly to keep them entertained and so if the day comes the doc says "That sucker's gonna blow before you get back to the car" I can then, maybe, get the operation.
