Fished Saturday and Monday. Saturday was phenomenal fishing, both on the troll and on top. The clouds were right on the water (visibility was about 50 yards). Very wet, but worth it.
This is one of about a dozen that were this size with a lot more that were smaller. Got one monster (over 24), but felt that I'd hurt if I took the time to take a picture as it was a long battle. Took forever to revive it, so I made the right choice.

I hope this works:

Nice fish. Sounds like a great couple of days.

If only we had such fish to cast to. Lovely fish and a fine photo. Thanks for showing us what a big trout looks like. Bux

Edward,
That brown you caught in Carins pool on the Beaverkill a few years back was no dud. That was a nice brown!

Tony, good memories from that GOTC in New York...in the heart of the Catskill trout waters.

I never would have landed it without the "volunteer" ghilley that ran me and the big brown down on the far side of the river. I haven't dared to catch a trout that big with Mark Wendt all the way out in Michigan. We used Mark's net to measure the fish....It was just over 26". I've taken salmon larger, but that was my biggest Brown Trout.
