Nats vs. Padres. 1-1, top of the eighth. 4 Nats in a row hit homers. Don't see that often.

That's not all that big a deal. Florida State's women's softball team did that a couple of weeks ago, but I think it was a good bit earlier in the game. 8-)

Correction: The Braves did NOT go 4 in a row. They went Donaldson, Markakis HRs. Riley K. McCann, Albies HRs.

An interesting additional note. The Nats did the 4 in a row bit in 2017. By doing it again they are the only team to have done it twice.

Your former "boy" is batting .251, has had 251 at bats, has struck out 87 times (leads the majors in strikeouts), has a WAR of 0.7 (1.0 is considered bare minimum acceptable).

Philadephia has already booed him. It ain't going to get better for little Brycie....$33million a year. He proved a sucker is born every minute.

Our boy, Rendon, is hitting about 320 and has at least 12 HR. Howie Kendrick is at about 333 and has about a dozen homers. Trea Turner is starting to light 'em up. Adam Eaton plays like his hair's on fire and Big City Adams can be scary at the plate and, oh, that Soto kid is only hitting about 290. If the Nats had more than two decent pitchers, they'd be on top.

Who is this Philly person? (The Nats dodged a bullet when he went to Philly.)

The Milwaukee team is killing it (and the dodgers, but I don't give the dodgers credit for anything because they are the dodgers). I know you only follow one team but the Milwaukee team has some hitters that are scary. Atlanta's top four are better than Washington's top four, defensively and offensively. But the Milwaukee team is loaded. They have four players in the top NL 40 for WAR. Philly has 3, Atlanta 3 and Washington 2. I don't know what's going to happen in the 2nd half when baseball gets real, but if Milwaukee can keep pitching like it has been with their hitters, the beer boys may well be drinking in October.
