I just posted a joking reference to Muddler Minnows in another thread. Now, I'm wondering does anybody still use them?

Location: 15 miles NW of Statesboro, GA
Yep, use them in the mountains for Trout and down here for Bass and Bream.
The Muddler is an excellent imitation of a Mole Cricket which is a favorite
of the Redbreast in the rivers down here.

I have a few with my "lake" gear.They work well with the bass and the browns and rainbows there.

If I recall correctly, I was on a Muddler kick a few years ago and it was about all I fished. Was pretty successful. It’s a great fly! YPJ
