Brad,

Since you will be there with your lady friend, there are a couple of very nice restaurants in the area. Both are at hotel/resorts.

In downtown Branson, there is the "Level 2 Steakhouse" in the HIlton Convention Center.
Out by Table Rock Lake, there is the "Chateau Grille" at the Chateau on the Lake.

Menus and appropriate information can be found on the web.

People like to make fun of Branson...a lot of it for good reason.
But there is some fantastic trout fishing in the local tail water.
;)

With one more night to go, gotta say I have really enjoyed our week in Branson. We've found interesting things to do in the day time and good food (including two of Brian's recos). The 6 shows we've seen so far have been really entertaining. Things are generally priced here to be affordable. The service providers have been uniformly friendly and helpful. we plan to return.

We have been here during Veteran's week, an annual big deal here. There are not many young kids here now, but the place is swarming with Veterans enjoying the appreciation they are given for an entire week, not just on Veterans Day. There are a few from WW-II, a surprising number from Korea and a lot from Vietnam. An impressive group!

We'll be returning.

Brad
