Very happy with the Yankee season and will now be pulling for the American league Astros.

Also pulling for the Astros, but only because I have hated the Dodgers my whole life.

Since no NFL for me, I was really looking forward to the Yankees and games in NY. Did I ever tell you all that I shook Roger Maris hand in church in Gainesville FL 1976.

Who are these teams of which you speak? I thought baseball season ended over a week ago.

The thought of listening to Joe Buck on Fox TV or Suzyn Waldman and Jon Sterling on WFAN turns my stomach. I'll probably watch a hockey game.

So far it has been a ripper of a series. There seems to be a bit of controversy about the baseballs being used as too slick. Apparently, they make it difficult to throw a good slider.

Not much of a baseball fan, but watch a little of each game in the series.
I've been really impressed with how accurate the umps are compared to the strike zone shown on the screen. Well, until last night anyway. That guy was calling balls that were so far inside on some of those guys that about got beaned. He for sure was not as impressive as the others have been (from the amount I've watched).

Curious when they'll do away with the home plate ump and let the electronics do it correctly.

Also, I would watch a lot more of the games, but Joe Buck is a moron and his commentary makes me want to kick my TV

I try not to say "never"......but I don't see "electronic strike callers" happening anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Joe Buck is definitely not his father; he's been in the STL market for a long time.

I'm a national league fan so rooting for the Dodgers. Would have rooted for the Astros if they hadn't jumped leagues a couple years back. but being a cubs fan it's hard to swallow rooting for the Dodgers.
