Congratulations on the kids. We drove the River Road down the Guadalupe a couple of days ago. Granted, it was the week between Christmas and New Year's. Beautiful water with a fisherman standing every 50 feet or so. Is give up fishing before I'd deal with that. But that's me.

I pretty well gave up fishing when I moved to Northern VA. Virtually almost only fished at GOTCs for the last 14 years. Now I have some free time. I'll take some combat fishing for a while.

Good job dad. It is on the parents to teach their children and it's obvious you and Mrs. TB have done well. I'm pulling for both of them to succeed in their endeavors. I have a contact for Ryan in Ecuador. A surgeon who has spent her life so far in setting up a medical clinic to serve the impoverished indigenous people of NW Ecuador. I'll try and pass on details at some point. Remind me soon if I drop that ball. She would love this lady and what she's doing.

Thanks, Satchel! I will pass along anything you provide. She's probably locked down for the next 18-24 months, but after that, she will figuring out her next steps.

This is a link to Dr. Jane's clinic and how she got there. I first met her when she came to work in Fort Wayne. I went to Ecuador 2 weeks after the 9/11 attacks, just 3 weeks after she got there full time, and spent a week out in the jungle in a small village with her and a group of people from Ft. wayne. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever worked with and is also a very good surgeon.
