I just wish we'd get one or the other here. Yesterday it was 60 degrees and I had the Harley out. This morning it's 10 degrees with no sign of warming up. This is the 3rd big swing like that we've had this year.
Won't stay cold long enough for my blood to thicken.

I went out to start my truck this morning and it actually felt kinda balmy. I must be acclimating finally because it was only 3 degrees.
We have been down there in the single digits so long that they are beginning to feel like the norm. Next week it is supposed to get up in the 30's one day so that will be all it takes for me to have a set back and have to start all over acclimating again.

Well, I ain't gonna claim to be the coldest place on earth, but it ain't very dang warm around here in NE Indiana. Our forecast for the coming week shows a high temp will be on Wed when it's supposed to be all the way up to 13. Every night is below zero, anywhere from -2 to -9. No snow forecast and we've only got about 3 inches on the ground. There was snowmobile on the river yesterday. Still a little to early for my comfort, but he didn't go through.

The overnight low on the "MIN-TEMP" function of our thermometer was just two hairs shy of -20° and right now it's -10.2°.

Stuff happens...

The WI trout opener is tomorrow. I won't be going out.

Last year we had some 60° weather in January...had fun chasing trout the day I managed to get out.
