Certainly, I feel that she's earned the right, given the occasion... ;)

The dinner was a success...the two ...dishes, Pad Thai chicken and Mee Krob were done to perfection, but I went "medium" on the hot sauce...the lettuce was fresh and crisp. Belgian beer accompanied the candle-lit dinner..the lights were romantically dimmed, and there was soft music in the background....in our kitchen. We decided on take-out in the event that the romantic moment might get out of hand.

Satch,

Your elucidation is candid, nonetheless, I'll give it a positive twist being that it is the season of generosity.

Ahaa! All you doubters and youthful questioners of true romance....In appreciation of my thoughtfulness in the anniversary dining the bride in now preparing a fine follow-up dinner of chicken and sausage ravioli with a substantial Italian white wine she purchased for the occasion.
Then, tomorrow, our daughter takes center stage with a traditional, Christmas Dinner prepared and served at their house. I am a lucky man indeed. Merry Christmas to all!

Congrats Bux, that is quite an accomplishment in this day and time. Makes me feel like a newlywed with a measly 46 years under my belt.
