...can yield interesting things. This holiday weekend we were looking over some old materials from her Book of Rememberance and we came across a folder that contained a coupon book for rations from World War II. It is in excellent condition and still has some coupons for sugar and other items. I wonder if this would be valuable to any collectors?

Probably not worth a great deal of money.

Personally, I would save stuff like that for future family generations. With the geometric growth of technology, it is pretty hard for younger people to grasp the way that people used live.

Here are is an eBay search for sold listings of WWI Ration Coupons:

I well remember those coupon booklets from WW2. Meat, sugar and other items were assigned to those coupons. They were traded, swapped, sold and swiped by the holders...usually the womenfolk.
In September of 1943, we moved upstate to a farm, and with the exception of butter, we had enough of everything else provided by the animals, chickens, turkeys and crops/vegetables on the farm.
Happily, I provided some trout and bass. ;)
