1.) I talked to Bux Friday. He's coming along well. Just hasn't felt talky yet.

2.) The Librarian and I drove to Garrison , NY, Friday for a funeral Saturday. Started home right after the interment and spent last night in Gettysburg. Got home about 12:30. Didn't do any fishing.

I’m up at Lake Louise with my emotional support wife, celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary. I bought a fishing license and brought a fly rod, but it looks as if I won’t be doing any fishing.

It's too hot to type. Much less fish.

That's a little better. Thanks fellas.

Colston, glad you evidently had a good trip. Long haul for such a short stay.

John, Congratulations on 55 years. To bad about not getting to fish. I'm sure you're involved in equally satisfying activities with your emotional support wife..

Gene, pay the electric bill and turn the A/C on..

I've been working out of town. Doing substation work in hot, sunny Illinois.

I am in town this week only because of an eye appointment.
This is a followup visit to determine if my eyes are getting worse.

With the initial visit they found three problems: high pressure in my eyes, beginning of cataracts, and retinal neuropathy.
Tomorrow I go back and they are going to do more tests and take more pictures.
Hopefully I am not going blind.

Speaking of blind...Saturday night Jayne and I had to take a handicapped equipped room at the motel. As we wet into it a group of men were going into a room across the hall. I was tired and grumpy. Whee I threw the light switch on our room, no lights came on. "It damned sure is a room for the handicapped, the blind at least. No g..damned lights," I said. The men across the hall broke out laughing. That made me feel better.

I've been remodeling. Too tired to do anything else.
