Post subject:  Crappie Flies

Crappie flies need not be fancy as evidenced by the following photos. These normally take me about 3 minutes each, 1/3 of which is putting on the dang beads!

This first one is the one I referred to in the post under crappie fishing except this one has a silver bead

This one’s body is tied with a material I bought at yarn shop, looks really good in the water.

Here’s the collection I tied up. They ALL caught fish. I still like the bright or flashy flies.

I've been tying crappy flies since I was a kid ... one would expect at least some improvement....nada, never happened.
I like the top one on the stack of seven...it has Prince Nymph colors and materials ... is it as deadly as it looks?
