Madison RiverWell last week I was on the road between Sheridan, Billings and Jackson Hole, the pay off for putting 1000 miles on my truck was the chance to spend 3 days with my wife. It was nice to get out of town for awhile and spend time with my sweetie…the weather on the other hand was not so nice…between high winds rain and snow it was not to pleasant. The weather finally changed the day I was to return to Sheridan… We got home just in time to go to work on Sunday and catch the start of the Mother’s Day Caddis hatch…here are a few shot from our adventure…

As you can see the weather was not nice!!

This shot was taken on the road between Yellowstone and Teton national parks…there still a lot of snow hangin’ around…

About the Author...Ben Nardi is a Pastor with the United Methodist Church, currently serving the Ruby Valley Parish, with Churches in Twin Bridges and Sheridan, Montana. He has served Churches in Troy Montana, Butte Montana and Jackson, Wyoming. He began fly-fishing about 3 years ago. Photography has been his hobby and profession (though briefly) since 1970. He mainly fishes the rivers, streams and ponds in the Ruby and Beaverhead Valleys. His fishing partner and constant companion is a spoiled 4 year old Red Lab named "Ashley".
